Renowned Yoruba actor Shoneye Olamileka, popularly known as Show, has issued a public apology to actress Temidayo Morakinyo for his previous act of physical assault towards her.
The incident, which occurred in May 2023, saw Morakinyo publicly accusing Show of assaulting her on a movie set, leading to widespread attention and condemnation.
Following the outcry, the African Men Entertainment Kings (AFRIMEK) labeled Show’s actions as disgraceful and subsequently suspended him.
In a widely circulated interview with actress Biola Bayo, Show expressed deep remorse and extended a heartfelt apology to Morakinyo and the general public. In the video, he acknowledged the past events, stating, “I’m genuinely sorry for what transpired between Temidayo and me in recent months. I sincerely apologize from the depths of my heart for the pain caused.”
Show’s public apology signifies an attempt to reconcile and seek forgiveness for his actions, aiming to address and move beyond the regrettable incident.
